| Description: Battery Wharf is 2008 $300 million luxury condo-hotel development on the Waterfront in the North End of Boston. The Battery Wharf condos are truly full-service, offering residents hotel-style amenities and services (spa, room service, water taxi, and valet parking, to name a few).
Battery Wharf offers 104 luxury residences, anywhere from 900 square-foot one-bedroom units to 3,200 square-foot three-bedrooms. Each unit features a multi-zoned heating and cooling system, marble bathrooms, state-of-the-art kitchen, fireplaces, private balconies, and underground valet parking. The Battery Wharf complex includes multiple buildings, split across the for-sale condos and luxury hotel. Until parting ways from Battery Wharf in June 2008, the Regent Hotel was slated to open onsite - the split between RBW LLC, the owner of the Battery Wharf development, and Carlson Hotels Management Corporation (Carlson owns and manages the Regent brand, as well as Park Plaza and Radisson), was due to reported "philosophical differences" on strategies for the project. RBW sought partnership with Fairmont Hotel & Resorts, and launched the Fairmont Battery Wharf in January 2009.
